Description

Rattlesnake vertebra, in pen and ink. The largest of these are about thumbnail-sized, so I didn't have to fumble with the microscope nearly as much. The rattlesnake is a very sophisticated hunter, so it has a long prong on the ventral side of the vertebrae.
